I’m Hannah and I’m a Cheshire wedding photographer!

Who said winter weddings need to be dark and moody? Gemma & Lee had a fabulous winter wedding in Cheshire and we did not let the windy weather dampen the mood of the day. Their wedding was filled with so much love. Maybe you can’t even tell their wedding was in the winter as I edit all of my weddings in my light and bright signature style. I started the day at The Portal Hotel where Gemma & Lee had both separately stayed the night before. This was an amazing idea as both of their rooms were close by so I could go between the rooms and capture them both getting ready. Lee also surprised Gemma with some lovely flowers in the morning so I could capture her reaction.

How did you decide your wedding venue?

I found Combermere on instagram 2 years ago in January sent everything possible to lee to convince him to go to the open day. It was the first venue me and lee viewed and we booked there and then on the day! We fell in love with the glasshouse it was like walking into everything I’ve always imagined when getting married. Not many venues have gardens like Combermere and even in the middle of winter they were still perfect. 

What were the best bits of your wedding day?

Spending the morning with my girls getting ready

Seeing my husband to be turn around whilst I walked down the aisle 

And even in the middle of winter we had one of the most beautiful sunsets

What was your first dance song?

Love like this by Lauren Diagle 

Are you off on honeymoon after the wedding?

We are heading off on a cruise to the canary island! Living life of luxury for the week. 

Why did you choose me as your Combermere Abbey wedding photographer?

I was so worried about the time of year we’d chosen on how dark our photos may come out, I found Hannah on instagram and instantly fell in love with how light, bright and airy all the photos were. Everything looked so natural and we certainly didn’t hesitate booking and after receiving our first photos we definitely didn’t regret it! We both sat and cried at how perfect the photos were!
