Wedding Photography in Santorini is such a delight. This is my dream job. Cliche I know. But the only thing I love as much as photography is travel. So destination wedding photography is, well, it’s just the icing on the wedding photography cake!

Shooting destination weddings is an amazing experience. There’s nothing better than exploring different countries and, of course, tasting all that incredible food!

Santorini is a real bucket list destination. I love spending time there and can’t wait to return and discover more of this stunning place.

My destination wedding photography style

My bright and airy wedding photography is ideally suited to Santorini. The light there is something else, glinting off those pure white buildings and glancing off the turquoise sea. I can’t think of anything more beautiful.

Santorini, and Greece in general, is renowned for being wonderfully laid back. Just like I am on a wedding day! Plus, there are few more romantic places to tie the knot. Imagine snuggling up to your new spouse as you watch the sunset together. I am getting a bit teary eyed just thinking about it. And yes, I’m one of those photographers who gets ridiculously overinvested in your wedding day. So I’ll be there, wiping away a tear behind my camera. Or silently cheering you both during your ceremony!

Wherever in the world you’re getting married my style of photography doesn’t change. I keep things natural and relaxed, leaving you to enjoy time together or with your loved ones while I snap away and capture all the emotions.

Weddings in Santorini

Wherever you’re getting married in Santorini you’re in for a treat. Imerovigli, where I’ve spent a lot of time, is a real hidden gem. With rugged cliffs and breathtaking sea views it’s just 3.5km from the centre of Fira. It’s so picturesque with whitewashed houses, narrow, winding alleyways and the most romantic sunsets. I’m almost lost for choice when it comes to photograph locations there. Plus I know loads of great little cafes and restaurants so if you ever need any tips then I’m your girl!

You’ll have heard of Oia, and if you haven’t you’ll certainly be familiar with photographs of it. Renowned for magical sunsets and that amazing vista of colourful rooftops this has to be one of the most popular spots on the island. Don’t let that put you off though. People flock here for a reason, because it really is stunningly beautiful. Watching the sun dip beneath the horizon here feels like a once in a lifetime moment and those are the kind of experiences you need on your wedding day!

I’m a keen advocate for weddings being as unique as you are, and weddings in Santorini or on mainland Greece are no exception. Both places are perfect for intimate, romantic gatherings or big parties full of your favourite people, you just can’t go wrong!

My relaxed, candid style of photography fits in well with whatever type of wedding you’re planning. I go with the flow and take a very laid back approach. I document events as they unfold and gently guide you during your couple portraits – an ideal time to explore those labyrinthine streets and take in the views out across the sea.
