Marquee wedding in North Wales

How amazing does a Marquee wedding in North Wales sound? Lydia and James decided to fly back from where they now live in Australia with their son to get married at Lydia’s fathers beautiful home in Bodfari in North Wales. The sun was shining for this glorious summer marquee wedding, with an outdoor ceremony under a beautiful flower arch followed by a fabulous marquee reception. The day was filled with so much love and tonnes of laughter and it was clear to see how much it meant to Lydia and James that their family were there to celebrate with them.

How did you decide your wedding venue?

We chose the venue as it’s our family (my parents) home and we’d always imagined having our day there surrounded by our family and friends. It’s a beautiful place no matter the weather and we feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to have our day somewhere so special. 

What were the best bits of your wedding day?

The best bits were probably seeing so many loved ones after years of being in Australia and being stuck there in the pandemic. It was wonderful to introduce our son to so many of our favourite people for the first time on our wedding day. The day felt casual and full of happiness! Lots of love and laughter during the speeches and so much dancing which was exactly what we wanted! 

Why did you choose me as your wedding photographer

We chose you as our photographer because your work is very light and happy. Your images capture the day perfectly with lots of casual snaps. We never wanted a long list of formal photographs and felt your work would fit our ‘vibe’ perfectly! We were right! We love our photos!
